Meghan O'Bryan
I’m Meghan and I’m 21. I’m a studio Art – New Media major with a minor in Graphic Design. This is my fourth year at Oakland and I will have one more year after. I plan to move to Chicago after I finish my degree here and continue school. I’m not quite sure what I want to do yet. Some options I am considering are to get a Masters degree in New Media, get a Masters in Graphic Design, or possibly go for a Masters in Library Sciences.
I’m newly wed to my wonderful husband Kevin O’Bryan. Our date was this past September 1st, so we have been settling into our new lifestyle. Kevin is a Philosophy major and he plans on going to seminary when we move to Chicago.
I'm in the Honors College and a few other organizations on campus. I try to be eco friendly. I also love to do community service and I love being involved with my church. I always have fun things to be doing.
I enjoy art, music and literature. I read as much as I can when time allows and I'm always coming up with crafty hands on projects and creative new media ideas. I love creating with interior design and I also have an interest in digital photography.
My two favorite places to be are in libraries and museums. They just have a wonderful atmosphere about them.
Global Warming
This video was a beginning of the understanding that I have come to about the earth and the effects that we as humans have upon it. I have come a long way since making this video and doing the research that was involved in its creation.
